She will use her Life Drain Ability on the Melee Camp, which needs to be interrupted. It heals her for quite a lot and needs to be looked out for. High Priest Thekal (Tiger Aspect Boss Guide) Phase 1 There are two Zealot (Lor’Khan and Zath) Adds in addition to the Boss, which need to be tanked separately. The three have to be killed within 10 seconds of each other! You can either distribute the DPS into 3 groups or stop DPS at 10% for every boss. Zealot Zath will either need a second tank or a Mage with very high threat. The Zealots can both be disarmed. Keep interupting Zealot Lor’Khan when he tries to cast Heal. This is one of the most important things in this fight. Once the three Bosses are low enough, pull them together and AoE them down, to make sure they die together. Phase 2 If Phase 1 was completed successfully, Thekal will turn into a Tiger and needs to be picked up by the MT. Tiger Adds will start to spawn, which need to be focused by the ranged DPS. Make sure there is always only one Tiger Add attacking and CC the rest using Polymorph and similar Abilities. Zul Gurub Boss Guide - Center TempleZul Gurub Boss Guide – Center Temple High Priestess Arlokk (Panther Aspect) For this Boss, the entire Raid should group up either in the center or at the Gong. The boss needs to be tanked at the other location by the MT, away from the raid. Because of Arlokks large cleave in Cat Form, Melees need to be very careful. While in her Troll form, Arlokk can Gouge the tank. In that case, the Offtank needs to pick her up as quick as possible, so she doesn’t cleave the raid. During the whole fight, Panther Adds will spawn. Use AoE fears and CCs to keep the, at bay until the Boss disappears. Then kill them. When she reappears, she will be in her other Form. If she changed to Cat Form, Melees need to stay away! This cycle will repeat until she is dead. Together we will go through the weapons, the gear, the quests, and the best training areas for each level. 1-99 Range Guide OSRS COMBAT STYLES 1-99 range guide osrs 1-99 range guide osrs First, let’s review the three combat options we have for pretty much all ranged weapons. You can choose the accurate style, with which you receve 4 xp in Ranged and 1.33 xp in Hitpoints for every point of damage. This style allows you to shoot less often than the other two styles and you receive +3 invisible bonus to your Ranged level, which increases accuracy. You need that accuracy boost at a low range level so you might want to start with this combat style, then switch to rapid. With rapid style, you get the same Ranged and Hitpoints xp for each point of damage, however you can shoot more often yet you are more likely to miss. This mode gives the best xp/hour. Once you go beyond level 10, it’s best to use Rapid. Your third option is to use the longrange style, with which you also train Defence and your 4 xp points are split equally between Ranged and Defence. Attack range is increased with this combat style and it also gives you an invisible +3 boost to your Defence level. It’s pretty much for people who want to increase the attack distance and train Defence at the same time and it’s significantly slower than the other two. 1-99 Ranged Guide OSRS WEAPONS You can view all the weapons, armour and ammo when you click on the Ranged icon in your skills tab, but we’re going to list here only weapons that give an att bonus and have proven to be more effective and fast than the rest. The fastest way to get xp at a lower level is with OSRS Cannon, also known as Dwarf Multicannon. Getting from 1-80 by cannoning caged ogres in the Combat Training Camp is a very quick but expensive way to level Ranges OSRS. There are no level requirements to use the cannon, you just need to complete Biohazar and Dwarf Cannon, and it provides a lot of xp. The cannonballs, however, are very expensive and many players can’t afford them. You can buy cheap OSRS gold and train Ranged with cannonballs fast and effective! We wouldn’t advise using cannon after level 80, because red chincompas on red skeletons at the Ape Atoll dungeon will give you better xp. Throwing Iron Knives used to be a great choice for training on things like Rock Crabs at low levels but steel or mithril darts are a better option now because they share the same attack speed as the iron knives, give better or equal range bonus, and are cheaper. Once you’ve unlocked the Mithril Darts, it’s best to use them because they provide great speed and bonuses and are pretty cheap. You can equip them after level 20 Ranged and are very cost effective for low level players. The Dorgeshuun Crossbow is an amazing way to train cheap, because Bone Bolts cost about 3 coins each and you don’t need any quest to use the Crossbow. If you’re looking for a cost effective way to train, you can start with a Shortbow and bronze arrows and switch to The Dorgeshuun Crossbow and Bone bolts after level 28. At 70 range you can equip the Karil’s Crossbow which is an excellent weapon not many players know about for whatever reason. It fires bolt racks which break when they’re fired, and is a bit similar to the Shortbow in a way that it fires fewer but more powerful shots. The Karils crossbow has a higher dmg/s at the expense of the shield slot. It’s the fastest crossbow in the game, and also the only one you use with two hands. However, it degrades fully after 15 hours of combat. But you can repair it which can get annoying and expensive. Blowpipe and Chinchompas are pretty good and fast options for getting Ranged xp at a higher Ranged level (over 70 even if they are available earlier). 1-99 OSRS Range Guide OSRS GEAR There is one simple rule to follow when it comes to Ranged Gear – always use the best Dragon Hide armour you can afford at your level! Once you’re level 70, you can access pretty much all the gear for Ranged OSRS. Remember to pair up your training armour with Ava’s Devices because it will save you a lot of OSRS gold. We will talk about this later in this article in the Quests OSRS part. So the best way to pick your gear according to level is: • Level 1: Not many options here, stick to Leather gear which consists of leather cowl, leather body, leather vambraces, and leather chaps. You can also get an amulet of glory, obsidian cape and a combat bracelet but since level 1-20 takes no more than two hours, it’s not necessary. • Level 20: Use studded leather gear. At level 25 you can switch to frog-leather armour but it’s not necessary. • Level 30: Snakeskin armour. • Level 40: Green Dragon Hide (D’Hide) is a great set up too but you need to complete Dragon Slayer for it and it also requires 40 Defence so it’s best to use it if you’ve trained Longrange so far. if you have complete the Fremennik Trials you can wear an Archer helm. The Regular and Elite Void armour are both pretty affordable and efficient set ups that you can equip after level 42 Ranged and they give you certain bonuses. (Regular Void gives +10% Ranged Attack/Strength and Elite Void gives +10% Attack and +12.5% Strength) • Level 50: Blue Dragon Hide (D’Hide) • Level 60: Red Dragon Hide (D’Hide) • Level 70: Now you have a few options to pick from. First one is the Black Dragon Hide (D’Hide) which is very cheap and does a good job. Many rangers choose to train Slayer as well – we will elaborate later in the article on why Slayer and Ranged often go together, so if you do that you might want to get the God Dragon Hide (D’Hide) because it gives you an extra Prayer bonus. Karil’s armour is good too, but it’s degradable. The best in slot is the Armadyl armour and it’s also the most expensive but you can buy OSRS gold and get it. 1-99 Range Guide OSRS QUESTS Here are some useful quests you can complete to make your Ranged training easier. The Animal Magnetism quest gives you the Ava’s attractor and the Ava’s accumulator. If you do Dragon Slayer 2 you get bonus the Ava’s assembler. Basically using the Ava’s devices will save you a heap of money and will increase you xp/h rates greatly, because it picks up your arrows and returns them to you. (Tip: make sure you’re not wearing a metallic body like a chainbody when you’re using the Ava’s devices because your ammo won’t be returned) Dwarf Cannon quest is for those who want access to the Dwarf Multi-cannon which is the fastest way to train at a low level and is also great for those who train Slayer. The Horror from the Deep quest will give you access to the God Books and the Armadyl book will provide you a +10 Ranged Attack bonus. Not as vital as the rest, but also a good addition to the list is the Temple of Ikov quest, because it gives you great xp and when you finish it you get 10 500 Ranged xp extra. It’s also a requirement for Desert Treasure. The Monkey Madness 1 and 2 questsgive you Ranged benefits too. The second one is better because the Chinning caves give you better xp. 1-99 Range Guide OSRS TRAINING SPOTS In case you’re not using cannon: • Level 1-10: Either killing chickens in the Lumbridge chicken farm where you can also collect their feathers for more ammo, or Sand/Rock/Ammonine/Swamp Crabs. • Level 10-20: It’s either the Crabs or moving to the cow pen northeast of the Lumbridge chickens where you can deal with slightly stronger monsters. • Level 20-40: Option one is sticking to your Crabs of choice. Option two is moving to the Stronghold of Security and finding the minotaurs on the first floor. You can kill those along with wolves when you get to a higher level, a good thing is there is a safespot in the first room on the right right behind the stone fencing. You can pretty much shoot through the fence if you have a low level and don’t train Defence. • Level 40-60: You have a lot of options here. Now Sand Crabs on the south-eastern coast of Zeah and Rock Crabs in Rellekka give you good xp/h and are pretty afkable. The Hill Giants in the Edgeville Dungeon are a safe option too, they also the drop the Giant Key which gives you access to fighting Obor. You can also train on Ogres to the East of Castle Wars or at King Lathas’ training ground but it’s usually crowded there because people go there to cannon. However it’s safe and you can make extra money from herb and seed drops. Or you can find the Moss Giants in Ardougne or at the end of the Varrock sewer and train on them, since they have a very low range defence bonus it’s easy to kill them at a lower level. Another option available after level 50 is to train on Bandits at Kharidian Desert which doesn’t give such good xp rates but is very AFKable. If you wear a Saradomin or a Zamorak item, the Bandits will stay aggroed and you just have to move a little every 20 minutes. • Level 60-80: You can make some money fighting Ankou in the Stronghold of Security as they give good drops. Pest Control gives about 15,000-30,000 xp/hour when you’re between 65 and 70 Ranged level but that’s a little bit less than you can make at the Ammonite or Sand Crabs. In case you’re using cannon: • Level 1-80: If you have OSRS gold to spend, that’s the fastest way to get to a 99. Killing caged ogres in the Combat training camp will get you to 70 Ranged in under 10 hours but it will cost you over 9 000 000 which is almost 10 GP/xp. Ice trolls is a good place to train with cannon too. You must complete the Fremennik Trials quest, then you go to the easternmost coal rocks in the Fremmenik isles and set up a cannon a few steps to the south. They drops a lot of valuable Alchables and shields so it won’t be as taxing. Always do this with a Troll Slayer task, it can give you great Slayer xp too. Ice trolls are not a good option for low level players though, so it’s better to start with the ogres. Scarabites are a great option too, because you can profit a lot from them even when you use a cannon. Theyre’ in the Sophanem Dungeon and you can use the Pharaoh’s Sceptre to get there. Locust Riders drop many noted items and high level stuff. Pair them both with the bonecrusher and the dragonbone necklace and for females, the fremennik shield, because this will reduce the need for using Prayer pots and will save you a lot of coins. Level 80-99 Red Chinchompas can be used to kill Skeletons in the Ape Atoll Dungeon. That’s called Chinning. You can do it at a lower level but it’s best to wait at least until 75 Ranged. You can also use Grey chinchompas, as they are cheaper, but they have the slowest xp rates. Remember that if you die, all of your Chinchompas will be lost! When you complete Monkey Madness 2, you can use the chinchompa method Maniacal monkeys which improves you xp rates significantly. This method is pretty expensive though – getting to 99 by Chinning can cost you over 50 000 000 with Red chinchompas. If you use Black Chinchompas, you can reach rates about 1 000 000 xp/h with the Monkey Madness 2 Caves method where you keep stacking the Monkeys on top of each other. It will cost you more though – Chinning to max level with Black Chinchompas costs over 80 000 000 so you might want to buy some OSRS gold! Another option is TzHaar in Mor Ul Rek. If you want to be as afk as possible the Nightmare Zone minigame is your best call. You can get up to 90 000 xp here if your gear is good and you’re using a Blowpipe, otherwise the rate is about 60-70k xp/h. Chinchompas are far better but not everyone can afford them, also at NMZ you can just use super range and absorption pots and pretty much be AFK after you’re set up. Slayer Using Dwarf Multicannon paired with Slayer is a great way to train Ranged. You get about 0.76 Ranged xp for 1 Slayer xp so if you get to 99 Slayer with the Cannon you’ll be also at 95 Ranged. Another reason for rangers to train Slayer is because the Animal Magnetism quest requires level 18 Slayer. You can also use the black mask/Slayer helmet which will give you a 15% Ranged accuracy and damage boost. Friendly to Honored This is arguably the easiest step of the reputation farm for the Thorium Brotherhood in Classic WoW. The only thing you need to do is turn in Dark Iron Residue. To get all the way from Friendly to Honored Rep with the Thorium Brotherhood, you will need a total of 960 of it, as it only awards 25 Rep per 4 Dark Iron Residue. You can turn it in at the same NPC as before. Honored to Exhalted Lokhtos Darkbargainer resides in the Tavern of the Blackrock Depths, in the far left corner. He is also the primary Quartermaster or Vendor for the Thorium Brotherhood, as he sells all the Reputation rewards.   9. Introduction to the Blackwing Lair Guide In this guide, I will go over every boss fight in the Blackwing Lair, mentioning everything that is important to complete them. While I will try to keep it as short as possible, some boss guides are quite complex, so this one is a bit longer. It is also advisable to bring plenty of consumables and some Fire Resistance gear. Razorgore the Untamed Phase 1 – Eggs When you pull the pack at the orb to start the encounter, one player needs to control the orb and start destroying the eggs in the room with Razorgore. Split the Raid into 4 groups, one for each corner. This is where the adds spawn. (Focus the Mages) Warriors need to kite the Legionaires through the room with the help of hunter traps. 2 Warriors should be enough to cover the 4 corners. The Dragon adds need to be CCed as much as possible. They can be tanked, though it is not worth it. have them feared or sleeped at all times. Phase 2 – Nuke Razorgore will aggro the player who was controlling the orb, the MT needs to take aggro. Position the raid in a triangle (MT – OT – Raid). This is so that only one of the tanks gets the debuff from Razorgores “Conflagerate” ability. The Offtank needs to take aggro when the Main Tank has the debuff. The raid is positioned behind the boss, between both tanks. Nuke down the boss. This is the easier phase of the encounter. Vaelastrasz the Corrupt 1.At the beginning, Vaelastrasz will be friendly until you talk to him, so take your time to set up. 2.The fight lasts about 3 minutes, which is the duration of the “Essence of the Red” buff, which the whole raid gets. It regenerates mana, rage and energy. 3.When this buff runs out, the healers will not be able to keep up with the healing and the raid will wipe 4.Vael will cast “Burning Adrenaline” on a random mana user. It will increase the damage done by that player by 100%, but the player will die after 20 seconds. 5.Every third use of “Burning Adrenaline” will be on the main tank, meaning you will most likely need 5 tanks for this encounter, since they will die. 6.When a player dies from “Burning Adrenaline”, they need to be as far away from other players as possible, to avoid killing other players. 7.Traditional Dragon positioning applies. Don’t be behind him, don’t be in front of him (except main tank). Keep the other tanks near the MT, but so that they don’t catch the breath and cleave. 8.Veal has a Fire Aura, that hits everyone in the raid for a few hundred damage 9.DPS classes need to be careful of their threat due to the tank swaps. Broodlord Lashlayer 1.To reach Broodlord Lashlayer, have rogues disarm the “Suppression Devices” in the rooms leading to him. Fight in the alcoves, where there’s none. 2.Once reached, have the main tank pull the boss into the nearest alcove at the side of the room. 3.Two offtanks should stand 90° away from the MT and start generating aggro as well. 4.DPS should clear the last whelps and then head for the gate. Give the tanks enough time to get aggro 5.Threat is a problem in this fight, so be careful and use your threat reducers on cooldown. 6.Lashlayer will cast “Knock Away”, reducing the current Tanks aggro by 50%. The offtank that takes over will need to move to where the MT stood before. 7.A DPS stop can be useful for these tank swaps, if needed. It’s not a DPS race, the fight should be taken slow and steady. 8.Healers will also generate a lot of aggro and need to be careful who they heal. A Healer rotation might be useful. 9.Melees need to get in and out of range of Broodlord Lashlayers “Blas Wave”, to make the life easier for the healers. 10.Every 25 seconds, the boss will cast “Mortal Strike” on the current tank, doing over 5000 damage. The tank then needs to be shielded and healed. Also, keep an eye on the Tanks health before this happens. Firemaw, Ebonroc, and Flamegor – Blackwing Lair guide To keep this Blackwing Lair Guide as shortas possible, I will only go over these abilities once. Please note that all three of the dragons have these abilities, in addition to the unique mechanics listed for each one! 1.All 3 of these dragons will cast “Shadow Flame” on the tank in front of them, which is why they need to wear the Onyxia Scale Cloak, in order to prevent the DoT from applying. 2.Another ability they all have in common is “Wing Buffet” which does damage in a cone in front of the Boss, reduces aggro and knocks back, similar to Lashlayer. 3.The offtanks need to be ready to taunt the boss before this, so that they get hit be the ability instead of the Main tank. It should never hit the MT. Firemaw 1.He has a unique ability called “Flame Buffet”, which does fire damage and applies a stacking debuff, which lasts for 20 seconds and increases fire damage taken. 2.This debuff is only applied to players in line of sight of the boss, so everyone needs to run behind a wall or pillar before their stacks reach 10. 3.3 Tanks can be very useful for the Firemaw fight, since you need one for “Wing Buffet” and one to let the MT reset his “Flame Buffet” debuff. Ebonroc 1.He will cast “Shadow of Ebonroc” on the tank, causing healing for Ebonroc every time the tank is attacked by him. It can be resisted with enough shadow resistance, at least 200. 2.If you can’t or won’t reach that amount of resistance, you will once again need Offtanks to taunt the boss when the MT has the debuff. 2 Offtanks should be enough. 3.DPS don’t need to worry about mechanics for this fight, making this one of the quicker fights of this Blackwing Lair guide Flamegor 1.The Dragon will cast “Frenzy”, increasing his attack speed and an AoE every couple of seconds. 2.Luckily, this is very easy to avoid, since the “Frenzy” can be dispelled with “Trenquilizing Shot” by hunters, making this the easiest of the the Dragons. Chromaggus 1.He will get into a Frenzy, like the one from Flamegor, which needs to be dispelled by hunters using “Trenqilizing Shot”. 2.When Chromaggus reaches 20%, he will enter a permanent enrage. There is nothing you can do about it 3.During this enrage, he will still go into Frenzy, on top of the enrage. Hunters need to be very quick during this phase! 4.His skin will periodically shine with a color. During this time, he will take extra damage from that element, which can help do some extra damage. 5.Tank him under the gate to his room, to make it easier to get out of line of sight for the breaths. Breaths Every week, Chromaggus will use 2 of the 5 breath abilities listed below. These will be the same two for the whole week, and they can make the fight extremely hard, depending on the combination. The Core Hound will cast these Breaths every 30 seconds, and they should ideally only be taken by the tank, so everyone else should run out of line of sight when this happens. Red: “Incinerate” – Deals around 4000 damage, which is doubled with black afflicion. Green: “Corrosive Acid Breath” – Deals 5000 damage over 15 seconds, ticking every 3 seconds. It also reduces armor by 4000-5000. Blue: “Frost Burn” – Deals around 1500 damage and reduces attack speed by 50%. Black: “Ignite Flesh” – Deals 750 damage every 3 seconds. This debuff stacks and lasts for one minute. Bronze: “Time Lapse” – Halves maximum health, stuns for 6 seconds and reduces threat. The health is restored afterwards. Afflictions When a raid member is affected by all 5 afflictions, they will mutate into a dragonkin, which will run rampage through the raid. Everyone who can, needs to help dispel these afflictions to avoid this. This has the highest priority. The Bronze affliction can only be removed with “Hourglass Sand”, which drops from the trash before the boss. Healers, Tanks and Hunters should have priority for this. The afflictions can all be removed by “Ice Block”, so frost mages have it a little easier. Red: Periodically deals fire damage and heals the boss if you die. Green: Deals nature damage and halves the healing you get. Blue: Slows movement by 70% and casting by 50%. In addtition, it drains 50 mana per second. Black: Increases fire damage the target takes by 100%. Bronze: Randomly stuns the target for 4 seconds. Lasts for 10 minutes and is only removable with “Hourglass Sand”, dropped from the trash. Nefarian – Blackwing Lair guide NefarianNefarian – Lord of the Blackwing Lair Phase 1 (Dragonkin Adds) 1.To start the fight, talk to Nefarian on his throne and go through the dialogue until he starts walking around. 2.He will cast Shadow bolt, Mind control and Fear during this phase, but there’s nothing you can do about it, since he can’t e attacked during Phase 1. 3.Dragonkin will spawn from the entrances in the north and south sides. Split the group to deal with them 4.The Dragonkin will have 2 of 5 colors, similar to chromaggus. Each side will spawn one of the colors and some chromatic ones, which are stronger. They need to be focused. Here are the 5 possible colors: Red: Resists fire. Deals fire damage in a cone in front. Green: Resists nature. Can cast a stun. Blue: Resists frost. Drains mana and reduces attack speed. Black: Resists fire and shadow. Deal direct fire damage. Bronze: Resists arcane. Slows attack and casting speed. 5.Be careful where you kill the adds, since they will all raise up again as bone constructs during phase 3. 6.Once 42 of these adds have been killed, the next phase will begin. Phase 2 (Nefarian) 1.Everyone needs to wear their “Onyxia Scale Cloak” since he will cast “Shadow Flame” on the entire raid during Phase 2. 2.After he has landed, he can be attacked. Traditional dragon positioning applies! Don’t stand behind him or in front of him. 3.Nefarian will cast “Veil of Shadows” on a random target, reducing healing by 75%. This needs to be dispelled! 4.He will cast an AoE Fear twice every minute, affecting everyone within 40 yards range, so it can be avoided by max ranging him. 5.The most interesting and challenging part of Phase 2 are the class calls. Nefarian will periodically affect every member of a specific class in the whole raid. Here are the effects: Druid: Are morphed into Cat Form and unable to shapeshift. Hunter: The equipped ranged weapon will immediately break and lose all durability. Hunters should take a replacement or have a macro to quickly remove it before every class call. Mage: Will cast “Wild Polymorph” on any other members of the raid regardless of where they are. Paladin: Places a “Blessing of Protection” on Nefarian. Priest: Any targeted, direct heals will also apply Corrupted Healing, a stacking DoT. They should stop healing. Rogue: Placed next to Nefarian and unable to move. Shaman: Places powerful Fire Nova and Windfury Totems for Nefarian. They have to be destroyed quickly. Warlock: Summons a pair of infernals to stun the warlock and nearby raid members. Warrior: Swapped into Berserker Stance with double the damage taken effect and unable to swap stances. Phase 3 (Nefarian and resurrected adds) 1.Once Nefarian reaches 20% health, Phase 3 starts, and he will raise “Bone Constructs” from the bodies of the dragonkin. As you can see, you have pretty much 3 methods in which you can effectively train prayer OSRS. Training by offering bones on an altar is fast xp and there are no requirements but it’s expensive. There are two kinds of altars you can use: a gilded altar with two lit up incense burners and a chaos altar. Let’s talk about gilded altars first. You can build a gilded altar in your own house with two incense burners at level 75 Construction. If you don’t have that level, check our 1-99 Construction guide OSRS here or just hop to world 330 and enter a house that has a gilded altar. The best bones to use are Dragon bones and Wyvern bones. They have the same benefits so it doesn’t matter which one you choose, though it’s best to combine them as this way you can stack up a larger quantity within the buying limit. To calculate the exact cost/xp ratio, you need to use a prayer guide OSRS calculator. There are bones that give you better xp, such as Dagannoth and Superior Dragon bones, but they are a lot more expensive. This method gives less xp per bone than Ectofuntus but you can process more bones in less time so the xp/h rate is higher. With Dragon bones, you get up to 650 000 xp/h. If you don’t manually use the bones on the altar though, this will get you around 270 000 xp/h. There is a way to increase your xp to 780k xp/h if you run bones and lighting burners on an alternative account, but this is a lot of extra effort. To get from 32 prayer to 99, you need around 52k Dragon or Wyvern bones. As for chaos altar, we’re going into OSRS wildy prayer guide territory here. The Chaos Temple in multi-combat level 38 Wilderness grants you the same xp as a gilded altar with two burners, but it also provides a 50% chance that the bone won’t be consumed and this doubles the amount of xp you can get per bone. This is recommended for Ironmen and for people who want to save OSRS gold while still training prayer effectively. However, as the altar is in the Wilderness, you’re risking to face player killers that often hop between worlds on this location. Most players that train prayer here take noted bones and un-note them by using them on Elder Chaos druid for the price of 50 coins per note. It’s pretty convienient but it increases the amount of bones you may lose if a player kills you. There are two strategies here. • Plan to die. You can travel from the bank to the altar for every new inventory. You bring three items, like bulwark, burning amulet, and rock cake/locator orb and a full inventory of bones. When they’re finished, you reduce your health with the cake or the orb and kill yourself with the nearby Wine of zamorak or Chaos Fanatic. Then you respawn close to a bank in Edgeville and repeat. • Bring noted bones. This is a good option only for very high level or very low level players. If you’re at a high level, you can protect yourelf with good gear and bring high-healing food. Low level players – we’re talking combat level 3-20 are too low-leveled to be targeted. Sometimes there are low level combar pure pkers at the altar though, so it’s best to be careful just in case. Don’t forget to use a prayer OSRS calculator to know the cost/xp ratio. Enough with the OSRS wildy prayer guide, let’s move on to the next method which is Ectofuntus. It’s cheaper, slower and has low requirements, also it’s highly recommended for low level Ironmen.     Death Plateau is a novice quest of medium length which is the catalyst for many, many more quests in Troll quest series. This quest allows players to help the Burthorpe Imperial Guard gain access to the Death Plateau, all with the aims of defeating the trolls. We’ve got a step by step guide to completing this quest – so sit back and follow along! Item Requirements - 60 Coins - 10 Bread - 10 Cooked Trout - Iron bar - Asgarian Ale (can be found in the pub in Burthorpe) - Premade blurb’sp. Or Blurberry special (can buy at Blurberry Bar) - We recommend you also bring along a games necklace to teleport to Burthorpe, as well as stamina and/or energy potions to make your travels quicker. Part 1: Death Plateau To start the quest, you’ll need to head to Denulth, who is located in a tent directly southeast of the Warrior’s Guild, as shown on the map adjacent. In conversing with him, he’ll tell you that the trolls have taken over the Death Plateau, and it’s impossible to reclaim due to the heavy troll presence. He’s instructed you to find your way to Death Plateau. It’s time to get to work! Part 2: Harold the Guard For this part, you’ll need your Asgarnian ale, 60 coins, as well as either your Blurberry special or Premade blurb’ special. If you don’t have the latter, you can buy these items at the Blurberry Bar, which is located in the Tree Gnome Village. With your items, head to the top floor of the Burthorpe Castle, just north of where you started the quest. There, you’ll find Eohric. A chat dialogue will appear, and select “Can I buy you a drink?” You’ll then hand him your blurberry special. After that, in the next chat dialogue, select the “Would you like to gamble?” option. From here, you’ll have to select a bet size, which has to be between 60 and 1000 osrs gp. Continue gambling with him by rolling the dice when the option presents itself. Eventually, he’ll give you an IOU paper. When you receive the IOU, click on it to read it. Skip through the text, and your IOU will disappear, and you’ll find a combination lying around in your inventory. In case you didn’t take note of it, the combination is: “Red is north of blue, yellow is south of purple, green is north of purple, blue is west of yellow, purple is east of red.” Part 3: Storage Room For this part of the quest, all you’ll need is at least 1 free inventory space. When you’re head to the Burthorpe castle, and on the western wall, you’ll find an array of coloured stone balls. Pick up all the stone balls, and now you’ll have to arrange them in a specific arrangement. The order is not specified, but as long as you arrange it properly, you’ll be fine! Follow the arrangement as shown by the picture adjacent (the picture is facing north). In case you can’t see the picture, the blue stone is in the bottom left, the yellow is in the bottom right, the red is in the middle left, the purple is in the middle right, the green is in the top right, and the top left is empty. Make sure you read the combination before you finish placing the stones, or else you can’t progress to the next stage of the quest. Head through the door slightly north and climb the ladder. In there, you’ll find an archer. Make sure you do not attack him, and simply just talk to him. He’ll thank you for getting the door open, and now it’s time to go to Death Plateau! Part 4: The New Route For the fourth part of this quest guide, all you’ll need is 1 free inventory space. To start, exit the castle and head north west, towards the Death Plateau. You’ll eventually find Saba’s cave, from which you should enter it. If you’re lost, we’ve provided a map. Talk to Saba and ask him if he knows of another path to Death Plateau. He’ll eventually provide you a secret path to the Death Plateau, which starts from a Sherpa’s house. Leave Saba’s case, and continue heading west. You’ll eventually hit a fork in the road, where the path splits north and south. Be careful not to head north, as it is quite dangerous. Head to the southern path, and you’ll find the Sherpa’s house. After he lets you enter, talk to Tenzing and ask for his help. Agree to fetch the items he desires, which are 10 bread, 10 cooked trout and spiked boots. Part 5: Spiked Boots Nearly finished! For this part, you’ll need an iron bar, empty inventory slot and the climbing boots Tenzing handed you. Head back to Burthope (preferably by the games necklace teleport to get there quickly). Travel north east until you find Dunstan, who is next to an anvil, as shown on the map. After talking to him, he’ll agree to change your climbing boots into spiked boots. The only condition for this being that his son is made to an Imperial Guard, and that he has an iron bar. So, head to Denulth, where you started the quest. After some dialogue, he’ll hand you a certificate for Dunstan’s son to become an Imperial Guard. Head back to Dunstan and hand him the certificate, as well as your iron bar, and he’ll give you a pair of spiked boots. Unfortunately, you can only have one pair of spiked boots, so treat them with care! Part 6: Into the Mountains The final part – hooray! For this, you’ll need 10 loaves of bread, 10 cooked trout, your combination and the spiked climbing boots. Ensure that everything is un-noted. With all your items, head to Tenzing, using the same route as before. Scroll up to find the map if you’re lost! After talking to Tenzing and trading him your items in exchange for a secret map, exit his house using the northern door, and climb over the stile. Continue following the path. As you keep walking, you’ll eventually reach a point where your character tells themselves that they have travelled far enough. At this point, it’s time to head back to Burthorpe. Either run back or use your games necklace teleport. Back at Burthorpe, speak to Denulth, and there you go – quest complete! Your rewards for completing this quest are 1 quest point, a very respectable 3,000 attack experience, steel claws, and the ability to make claws.
