We get the government we deserve (mostly because we vote for it) and the more we allow media outlets (I'm looking at you FOX, MSNBC, and CNN) to shape our discourse the less control we the citizens have over that discourse. I don't know about you but I deserve a government that is transparent and accountable to the people. We don't have that and we will not get that without a paradigm shift in the level of awareness of the rest of the citizenry[1]. And we can't achieve that while people are content with being fed shit by the mainstream media and thinking they are eating chocolate mousse [2]. What we have is a duopoly controlled gov't who are both funded by the same pockets and they will not allow another competing party or dissident candidate to become a serious contender.[3] B. While there is a horde of bullshit, shenanagins, and awful contrivances in our government (as anyone who has served can tell you), the idea that a President or a secret council is plotting deceptions and attempts to murder US citizens is positively silly. Back it up with whatever you think you can back it up with, you are still coming across as a tinfoil hat wearing clown... So stop it, for your sake. Not silly but documented fact acknowledged by an administration official and it has been done on three occasions that we know of [4]. While I won't say that I don't care what people think of me I have to disregard that concern for doing what I believe in and that is why I'm trying, in my own little way, to enlighten others to what I have learned. That said this will be the last time I delve into this subject matter in this forum. C. That said, the above BS the government DOES engage in needs to be discovered and addressed, and like any other operations in which shady information needs to be revealed, it can be by following the money. Put forth good, well researched documentation and logic will win the day. It is difficult for me do my own FOIA requests, interviews and research so I have to rely on sources that have shown themselves worthy of trust. But I do cross reference to the best of my ability. As to the other BS our 'public servants' engage in. [5] [6] [7] (I can go on...) D. Also, anyone that compares any one of our sitting politicians to a Hitler, Stalin, or Pol Pot desperately needs a lobotomy. There is NO comparison... As for our society conforming to a "slide" into totalitarianism... Have faith in your fellow Americans that we will see the writing on the wall and oppose attempts to control us... With regard to leaders in the US being sociopaths... Alot of the time yes. Unfortunately our culture has allowed power hungry individuals to push, wheedle and manipulate themselves into positions of power. That said, look at any of the truly visionary leaders of our time and try applying those labels to them? These were leaders that looked after their people, stayed true to the mission, and did what was right regardless the ease or difficulty. In Mass Effect terms, these were the Paragon Sheps... I exhort you all to look toward these ideals, try to be them, and chuckle at the individuals who think that climbing the ladder by stomping on those underneath them is a good idea... Because above all else: Karma is a bitch. Most of those great leaders would not be allowed to come to positions of influence today by which I mean they would not be able to secure the corporate sponsorship dollars needed to secure an election or some wack job would kill them. In the real world the bad guy usually wins and Karma only matters to those who care.
